Rambo Style Machete

I first saw a machete like this in the last Rambo (IV I think). It was cool in the movie watching him forge the weapon, and then when it was completed I was thinking to my self that I sure hoped that someone would do this in 1:6 scale.

There are some great guys that do custom 1:6 weapons, Jared (Warrior's first), Mike (Sir Eaton-Flipflop), Dave B (Big Dave), and Jim Catero (Delta275) just to name some of that I follow their creations closely. Surprisingly, I did not see any of these guys create this type of weapon, so I decided to give it a try. Now, this is my very first attempt at making a weapon from scratch.

The first thing I did was find a picture of the machete that I wanted to make (see below)
Then I drew it out on a piece of notebook paper and cut it out to use as a template. Here is my template, my first two attempts, and a normal 1:6 machete (see below)

Thank you for looking... comments and critiques are always welcome.

M3 .30 Cal with Infrared scope

I got this from a traveling box of parts a few weeks ago. Being a fan of sniper rifles, I started doing some research to find out what it was. It's a nice piece to have in the collection.

Hasbro MK47

This is another piece of equipment that I bought at the Joelanta GI Joe show last month, and am just now getting around to posting. This was one of the sets that came with the Super Articulated Joes and I think I got it for $15 which I thought was cool.

I actually wanted this set for the weapon, Hasbro has made some pretty cool stuff in the past, and this is no exception. Here's a reference picture of the MK47 MOD 0 in action.
Here's a picture of the Hasbro version:

You can also find this listed as the ALGL (Advanced Lightweight Grenade Launcher) and I've also seen it listed as a Striker 40. You can read more about his at Modern Firearms.

If anyone has one of these, and would like to part with it, please email me because I would like to pick up another one. Thanks for looking.

Laser Target Designator (LTD)

AN/PAQ-1 Laser Target Designator (LTD)

I recently picked up one of these in a trade for my Special Forces team. From the looks of it, I thought this was a fairly new piece of equipment, but after doing some research, I found out that this was replaced by the SOFLAM. This was actually used in Desert Storm 1 by the Scud Hunters to "paint" the scud sites.

I also found this being referred to as a MULE, but have not been able to find any other information on this.

Here's a picture of it in use.
